Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Devi Plants apps, website and services (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Devi Plants is a platform that connects customers with local nurseries for the purchase and delivery of plants, flowers and garden supplies, and with trained gardeners (“Maalis”) for on-demand garden services. We facilitate these transactions; products are supplied by nurseries and services are performed by independent Maalis and delivery partners.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your number and device secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Orders & delivery

• Prices, availability and delivery estimates are shown in the app and may change.
• An order is confirmed once payment is authorised. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
• Because plants are perishable and natural, minor variation in size, shape and colour from photos is normal and not a defect.

4. Maali services

• Maali services are billed by the hour. You pay for booked hours in advance; extensions are charged on completion.
• Please provide a safe, accessible space for the Maali to work. Materials such as pots or soil may be charged separately where agreed.

5. Payments, cancellations & refunds

• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay.
• You may cancel an order or booking subject to the cancellation window and any applicable charges shown at the time.
• Eligible refunds are returned to your original payment method or wallet as described in the app.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to defraud, harass partners or riders, interfere with the platform, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Partners & riders

Nurseries, Maalis and delivery partners use the Services under separate partner terms and operate as independent businesses, not employees of Devi Plants.

8. Intellectual property

The Devi Plants name, logo, apps and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Services are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Account deletion & termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app or via our Delete your account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
